ON:

They approached the restaurant and a waiter showed them straight to a table and was more than happy to take their order.

Lilura watched him go off, then turned to Amelia to say, "And, a surprising benefit of Star Bases and the regular shopping decks. The staff deals with races of all kinds from merchants, to vacationers, to visitors, so my appearance usually only raises an eyebrow." She leaned forward a little, then said, "So, a little about me to break the ice. I love dancing, love music, especially lyrical electronica, and the occasional brawl, hopefully maybe all three on the evenings agenda, one never knows. So, tell me, what of this appeals to you, or doesn't, as the case may be?"

Before any answers could be had, the Waiter brought over their Bloodwine along with some typical Klingon style goblets for housing it. As this was the 'Civilian' section, it was not synthehaul but the real things, and thus more expensive than usually found. This style was from small fruit similar to grapes for fermentation and particles, with proper amounts of captured enemies bled for creating the wine. The spices and fermentation process created a 110 proof libation, lightly sweet, with the changed spices making it more intoxicating than the proof would suggest, allowing it to waste a 'terran' faster than Bicardi Rum 151.

Lilura waited for Amelia to approve of it, then accepted the poured goblet. In taking a drink, she look astonished as she felt her immune system reacting to the blood within the 'Blood Wine'. She finished her initial drink, opening her mouth to let the aromatic flavors swirl along the roof of her mouth and into her nose. She closed her muzzle, then asked, "Uhh, you do know there is actual blood in the process of making this, right?"

Amelia looked at her and blinked. "You're joking right? Lilura..... Don't take this the wrong way but with those teeth and claws, you look like you could disembowel a wildebeest without breaking a sweat. And you're worried about a little bloodwine?"

It was Lilura's turn to look at Amelia with a curious look, and then she outright laughed. She sighed after the laugh, then replied, "Nope, not worried, yes, I can, and I was worried for you, not me." She shrugged her shoulders, then said, "Most Terrans I have run into have a proclivity for not liking any blood in their diets, no matter how healthy it is. Sooo..." Lilura blushed lightly, then continued, "I'm glad you're not one of them."

The waiter brought over their ordered plates of food. Lilura slightly opened her mouth as she smelled deeply of it, enjoying the odor. At the same time, just inside the incisor teeth, the tips of her two fold-able fangs could be seen peeking down as Lilura took in the smells. She blew out her breath saying, "Ahhhh..", then smiled to Amelia and said, "Heavenly, just heavenly." The two tips were no longer seen.

Amelia was tearing into her steak the moment the waiter had left, with an almost feral glint in her eyes. She had been waiting for this all day. She paused slightly as if to say 'you don't need to worry about me' before diving back in. All that walking had made her hungry, very hungry. After a few moment she relaxed somewhat "Sorry 'bout that. I tend to get a bit too focused when to comes to food."

Lilura, in seeing Amelia digging in, began to eat as well. Her steak, while a great portion for a flat faced humanoid, was a 'bite' sized for her size of mouth. She picked it up, tossed it into her muzzle, and began chewing readily enjoying the flavors of the spices, peppercorns, and very rare steak. She swallowed as Amelia relaxed, then answered her, "No apologies necessary.. I didn't really notice." She returned to eating, wishing for a larger spoon as she ate her veggies, onions, and mushrooms. She got frustrated, then picked up the plate and used her tongue to scoop its contents into her muzzle. She returned the now cleaned plate to the table as she happily chewed on her food. Swallowing, she stated, "That was good," then took a sip of her wine waiting for Amelia to finish.

Lilura smiled to her and asked, "Did you want some dessert?"

Amelia raised an eyebrow. “Are we talking dessert?” She asked looking at a menu “Or dessert?” She eyed one of the male waiters who was bent over the table next to them.”

Lilura gurgled in her chest. She replied, "Well, hopefully the evening will be of a little of both." She leaned forward and whispered, "If you like the wares displayed, you could always ask what time he gets off, and when he asks why, let him know if he is single, you'd love to go dancing with him.. after all, that is our destination, to go clubbing, right?"

Amelia sighed “In that case I’ll skip dessert. I’m watching my weight.”

Lilura opened her mouth, rethought what she was going to say. The meal she was brought was of a size of a light snack for her, and she really could use some dessert, but, if Amelia wasn't going to have any, she was not going to impose. She smiled and said, "Okay, I'll call the waiter over for our check.. and your check, yes?" She held up her hand as her tail moved out to tap the waiter on his hip as she called out, "Yoo hoo, Chad, if you please?"

Amelia sensed that Lilura was slightly disappointed. "I'll make it up so you and get you a drink, sound fair?" She smiled as the young man came over. She looked back to Lilura "Are you ready to go on the hunt?"

Lilura's ears moved backwards, but cupped, while her muzzle had a sly grin, her eyes narrowed, and her eyes held a glint of excitement. Lilura answered Amelia in a sultry voice, saying, "Oh, the hunt is on.." Lilura's look, which could only be called a feral, hunting look, along with her voice, caused Chad to hesitate as he came over to the gals table. What saved his composure was that the Dragon Lady was looking at the Terran and not him.

Chad coughed, then slightly stepped back at the interest the ladies were paying attention to him. He realized how he felt just might be similar to how ladies felt when he and his friends went looking for a night's companion. He swallowed, then managed to ask, "H-how can I h-help you ladies?"
