As soon as his debrief with the other Captains and their XO's was over Jon knew he had to speak with another party.

He reached his ready room and one of the bridge crew had pre-empted his query and found out exactly who had been doing the fancy flying in that transport along with the marines.

"Have him sent to me immediatly, I need to speak with that ensign," Jon ordered before retiring to his ready room. His console was already binging with lots of communicees. No doubt he would be having lots more conversations today.

"Tea, yorkshire. Reynolds prog 1," he ordered at his replicator. "Actually make it a tea pot and 2 mugs. And some of grans ... I mean biscuits Reynolds recipe 7."

He actually couldn't remember when he had last eaten, there had been so much going on with the planet killer, the ferengi and cetea suddenly showing up.

He had just stuffed almost an entire chocolate oat biscuit in his mouth when of course the chime rang.

Luckily he was a pro at eating these biscuits, him and his twin experts in sneaking into grans kitchen and munching these things. Swallowing loudly, he said to the door, "Come."

Adam Morgan straightened his newly freshened up uniform and walked into the ready room. He had just gotten released from sickbay to his new quarters when he was summoned to come see the captain. He looked around at the quaint surroundings for a quick moment and spoke as he looked at the nearly stern looking captain who was sitting behind his desk.

"Ensign Adam Morgan, reporting as ordered."

“Ensign, I’m led to understand you were piloting the transport vessel when the Ferengi and Cetea were causing complications out there,” he nodded in the direction of the now neutralised planet killer.

“Care to catch me up to speed what occurred to bring that situation about,” he said. “Please take a seat,” he added indicting the chair opposite.

Morgan smiled and spoke, "Thank you sir."

Adam took the chair opposite of his new commanding officer and spoke as he laid out what had happened with the transport. "To be honest, I wasnt really on the officers list of the transport itself. I was just a passenger on the way to this new assignement." Morgan looked out the starport and spoke again, "Seems like the old transport needed some kind of attention since the attack started, so i volunteered to take that role."

Morgan watched as the captain shifted in his chair and kept his ear open. Morgan continued, "I suppose it was the best option at the time since i have had skills of navigations for a long time. Good thing too." Morgan looked out at the planet killer, "Seems like this is bad area for a transport to be in anyway, hence all the maneuvers i had made with the small ship."

“Impressive manoeuvres,” Jon said straight up. “There was a, I can only describe him as warped Cetea determined to take us out. I strongly believe if you hadn’t of had the good sense to engage that other vessel of there’s, he might have managed more damage. This organisation is clearly more organised and dangerous than the Federation has given them credit for.

Thank you for stepping up Ensign. Which of us was your assignment to be with? The Europa, Merlin or my ship?” He asked knowing if it had been the Europa that was problematic now.

"Apparently this ship sir. I'm supposed to be the new addition to your bridge crew, your helm officer no less as a matter of fact." Morgan stated as he looked back to the captain.

"Helm officer okay. Well you just got promoted. Flying like that, I know I can trust you not to scratch this ship. Our chief Helm got injured in the fire fight and hes not going to be on his feet for a long time unfortunately. So I need somebody," Jon told him straight.

"Well I am happy to accept the job sir. Been on navigation controls ever since i left Starfleet." Morgan looked away for a quick second an spoke under his breath hoping that his commanding officer wouldn't overhear him. "Seems like forever."

Morgan looked back to the captain hoping to change the subject real quick, "I hope your officer does recover. And yes, you can certainly trust me not to scratch the paint off the Andromeda."

“Good,” Jon said simply. “I’ll get the XO to be in touch with credentials and shift rotations. Tea? “ he asked indicating the teaset.

"Sounds good sir, and no thank you." Morgan looked at his new captain and spoke, "I was just hoping to get some rest after all this mess. Having to pilot a transport out of danger, not to mention the tiring administrations from your doctor can tire a man out." Morgan quickly spoke to that last comment, "Not saying your doctor's a bad guy. He did a great job in getting me healed."

"Well im glad to hear that. No problem, I shall let you take your leave. Welcome aboard Ensign and dismissed."

"Thank you sir." Morgan stated as he started towards the door. As he looked a quick glance back at the captain, Morgan noted he went back to his computer terminal on his desk. Morgan made his way out the door and towards the turbolift. Besides the aching he still had from his injuries, Adam was hoping to get some sleep since this was going to be an interesting experience again.
