Victor had gone on the station SB21 and had been at a loss as to what to do there. He returned and got in contact with the chief of security, Ensign Matthews. Victor tapped his commbadge, "Hey Chief, are you busy?"
The call from her badge startled her a little, Harper wasn't expecting a call and it hadn't been the first time it had caused her a little jump. She had been that lost in thought doing a little browsing in the shops that her mind wandered. "No, not that busy. What can I do for ya?" she asked.
"Called to see what you'd like to have happen on the ship? Anything I need to work out for our rosters?" Victor responded. "I got a little bit bored on the station and came back to the ship."
"Bored?" Harper questioned. "Mate, seriously? That station has everything you could think of and more." she laughed a bit to herself. "If you really want to help out then you can look at the night shift roster. Some of the enlisted guys have been complaining about never seeing daylight... I do remind them we have no sun." she shrugged, again to herself.
"I spent a couple of days there, just... well if we couldn't go planet side, I felt hey why not come back to the ship. I had been looking forward to feeling the earth beneath my feet. So yeah I'll let the night shift guys go out on shore leave." Victor replied. "I don't mind."
"Oh I didn't mean to take over." Harper corrected herself. "I mean if you want to do a shift for them so they can get some time to chill out then that's cool, but I wouldn't order you to change a shift with such short notice." she added turning the corner and finding Victor closing in on her. She tapped her badge to close the channel as they were now in quite close proximity.
The dark haired man gave a smile when he saw Harper. "Hey, I seriously didn't want to spend anymore time on the station felt it would go better just being back on the ship and the others will be grateful in having time for shore leave. Call me strange, but I can get relaxation later on the ship when we are moving to our next destination. Though I did go to the nearby Ba'ku just to get a taste of sunshine. "
"Sometimes the station can be a bit overwhelming, some people just relax in different ways." Harper smiled softly at the man. "I do miss real sunshine..." she also commented.
"Perhaps you should make a brief run there, just to get a small amount of sun, I'll stay here and keep watch. However on that note, I probably should get the others sent off to enjoy their own time on the station." Victor giving a wink.
"Sounds good, Victor. Thank you. My skin needs sun so that I can survive." Harper joked. "I'll see that you are rewarded with alcohol or a shift off here or there." she grinned.
Victor grinned in response and then headed down the corridor to his destination. "Enjoy, boss." he called back, then gave a chuckle.
