ON:

It was really early but Jon decided to waste no time once he was notified the first away team had returned.

He replicated incredibly strong coffee as he got the feeling this was going to be interesting. Sipping it he winced. It was far far too early.

Amelia entered the readyroom. She would have liked to go and get changed and rested but the Captain need to know what had happened over there and more importantly what information J’Tan had.

Harper hadn't been far behind Commander Fox but felt a little weird from something she'd drank on the surface. That VIP section had too many wandering eyes and leering looked. You'd have thought they'd never seen confident, well asserted women before... and it didn't hurt that they were attractive either.

She kind of fell in line behind and to the side of Fox.

Aidan wasn't far behind, his expression was speaking volumes. He hasn't liked their situation any more than the others, especially having been ambushed like that about who his mirror was. He would've preferred a little more Intel before being confronted like that.

Amelia reported. “Captain, I take it a team has been dispatched to the coordinates we received. It wasn’t exactly straightforward. When we arrived they could tell that I wasn’t the Fox from this universe but they thought Aidan here was from this universe. We had to make a deal with the J’Tan from this universe, but he must have been in contact with Mirror Fox because he already has the startup sequence for the planet killers.”

“That’s somewhat unsettling,” Jon said seriously. “Yes, the Counselor, doc and Lieutenant Bumble are going in. It seemed too good of a coincidence that Cassie's status in this universe not to utilise it.

I’m not particularly happy with how it played out but I understand you did what was needed. I just hope our actions do not have big consequences towards the balance of power here.”

Amelia nodded, not particularly pleased herself with how the mission had gone. "It seems that these Cartels were going to get their hands on the startup sequence one way or another and the encounter with J'Tan saved us a great deal of trouble, he saw me and Aidan a way to solve some of his problems."

Michael came walking in, carrying a mug of tea in his hand just as Amelia mentioned the planet killers. He looked slightly tired. "Morning." he said in greeting, then paused for a moment before he spoke again. "Wait Cartels here were trying to get the starting sequence for the planet killers?" his face paled slightly.

Michael plopped into a chair, then took a drink from his mug. "This isn't good at all." he muttered.

Roger was tired today-Minnie wasn't yet used to their new accommodations and had been up a lot, "scared of the dark" He and Lucy had worked in shifts to lie with the young girl and try to calm her. It had *finally* worked, about 2 am, and he'd been able to get three solid hours of sleep. When he'd left that morning, the two females he lived with were both sleeping still. He wasn't mad about Minnie being up-he recognized that he'd ripped both his daughter and wife from the life they knew for a galactic adventure-because he was a dreamer who wanted to save lives. Lucy hadn't been exactly excited about it at first, but had learned to manage it. But Minnie was six, almost seven-too young to understand, just knowing that changes had happened. It was the one thing that had been the worst about this new assignment-changing his family's lives. Lucy-his dear, sweet, lovely wife-tried to explain to their daughter that it was for Daddy's work but...he didn't know how much she understood. Still, he knew children were resilient, and he knew that, in time, she'd be ok.

He found his way to the Ready Room, and replicated himself a cup of tea. He'd already had three cups of coffee and his wife got on him about how much coffee he was drinking-she was concerned about his stomach. Apparently, no matter that humans had existed for four millennia now, they STILL hadn't figured out how to *not* get ulcers from too much coffee. He should look into that...but no time to muse. He took a seat. He hadn't been fully brought up to speed on the happenings before his arrival, but he knew what he **needed** to know.

"Commander Fox," he said, by way of greeting. "Hope you're well today."

"Morning Lieutenant... I had better days to be honest." Amelia replied. She turned back to Jon "So what the play Captain?"

"The Counselor, doc and Lieutenant Bumble are on route to Sempok Nor to hopefully figure out what caused the blast that hit us from DS21 and pushed us here. Its the only idea we have right now. I am open to others," Jon said simply.

"It seems their version of J'Tan expects me to hunt down their version of Miss Iola.." Aidan frowned. "It appears she is my mirror's wife, and she has either betrayed him, or they are both planning something. I'm working on details though." The Trill paused, taking a moment to sip his ice cold water - his still preferred drink.

Michael took another sip from his mug, just trying to take in all that was being mentioned. He wondered to himself where his mirror self was and what he could be doing, or what sort of person he was.

"Did J'Tan get you to open up personal files voice and bio locked?" Jon asked.

The Trill nodded, putting down his glass. "Yes sir, he did," he answered, "I wasn't in a position to decline I think... I did discover that my counterpart is actually joined, where I am not." He pushed a PADD forward. "I wasn't able to get hold of all the records, but I did gather a fair amount of information. I took the chance to download as much as I could, so our intelligence and security department can have additional information."

Michael glanced over towards Aiden, AU Iola and AU Aiden were a mated pair. He thought it note of interest. Now to find out what she was like, this AU Iola, probably not as lovely and sweet like his wife. Which brought his thoughts towards what his counterpart could be like.

"That was a good move Commander," Jon said impressed. "Comb through that and find some clues. Although we will need to debate what we do with the information if you do manage to locate her. Obviously we do not want to alter the balance of power further or get sucked into something we shouldn't while we are stuck here."

Amelia stifled a yawn. "Captain... It's been a long night and we won't hear anything from the away team for some time. Permission to get some rest?"

"Permission granted. We will catch up tomorrow number one and give the situation more thought. If anyone has any ideas my door is open," Jon stated. "Dismissed all."

Michael was worried about the away team but he was going to trust C'Tora and the others, also maybe get himself prepped in case he needed to go help out. One never knew.
