Amelia was in bed. She rolled over and her eyes fluttered open. Thorugh the darkness she could make out a person sat in the chair on the other side of the room, watching her. She could also make out the outline of a phaser aimed at her.

A voice she recognized spoke "Don't try anything stupid now. I won't shoot you unless you force me to. Lights!"

The lights in the room cam on and Amelia saw her mirror universe counterpart sat, wearing a uniform again with a bad slung over her shoulder, phaser in hand.

Amelia sat up in bed, keeping the covers over her. "You escaped! Took you long enough. I thought I was smarter than that.

Fox's eyes bristled, but she laughed "It was to my advantage to stay where I was until now. Oh, I believe congratulations are in order. Syvar mentioned he'd knocked you up while he was pleasuring me. Maybe we can arrange a playdate?"

It was Amelia's turn to get angry this time. She moved forward on the bed and sat on the edge, studying her face. Finally, she answered. "I know when you're lying, he would never! But if you've hurt him..."

Fox dismissed her with a wave of her hand "Oh well, it was worth a try. Yes, he seems quite devoted to you now. you should consider yourself lucky."

"I do!"

Fox stood, keeping the phaser trained on her "I just wanted to say goodbye to myself before I left. Don't worry, I'll be back" She added as she took aim.

Amelia stiffened and an edge of panic crept into her voice "Please don't.... My baby....."

Fox paused for a moment and her expression softened. "I could never kill..... me. And you know I like you. Unfortunately, I like hurting Syvar more."


She shrugged her shoulders as if to say 'Oh well'. "Let's see if you get lucky again...." she added before pressing the trigger.
