ON:

Mirror Fox had managed to find a Starfleet uniform to change into so she could move about the ship easier without arousing suspicion. Before she made her escape she had a few people she wanted to... visit.

She accessed the computer learning the location of Amelia, Syvar, Aidan and his wife. She was going to have some fun. The closest of whom was Syvar in sickbay. Concealing the phaser on her person, she entered sickbay. As it was very early morning, Syvar was the only one on duty. She sauntered over to him "Suprise!"

"Hey, what are you doing here," Syvar asked, though his face lit up at seeing her. "Don't you have a shift in the morning?" He put down the tricorder he'd been trying to calibrate and fully turned to face her.

She studied him for a moment, managing to keep her true feeling hidden. When her counterpart had visited her, she had implied that a relationship had blossomed between the first officer and him. She wondered how long she could keep him thinking that she was the first officer.

"Well, I was thinking about you and decided to come and see you..." She decided to push a little further "I also need some supplies...."

Her mind wandered as she looked at him. She wondered if it would be worth breaking his neck but then, her other-self seemed to be taken to him, and while she wanted to make Amelia suffer, she still didn't want to inflict that kind of pain on herself. And she knew Amelia would never forgive her for that. That's how she would feel. She thought to herself 'Maybee I'll have one last fun time with him and then go tell her....." A wicked smile crossed her lips and she slowly continued walking towards him. "But, the supplies can wait. Actually, I can't sleep and I was wondering if you'll.... tire me out?"

"Supplies?" He queried as her question sank in. "I'm on duty... Is the baby bothering you?" He paused a moment. "I'm off in a few hours but then your shift starts. Do you want something to help you sleep?"

His statement totally derailed her train of thought. She just looked at him for a moment with a look of mild shock on her face. Amelia was pregnant! Oh, this was just too good. I really must stop by and... congratulate myself she mused to herself. When her brain finally re engaged she smirked at him. "On duty? That didn't stop you.... last time...." she dropped, seeing if he would get the hint as one hand suspiciously fell to the phaser she had concealed. She quickly stepped forward and planted a very aggressive kiss on him before while unseen, leveling the phaser at him.

"Last ti-" He fell silent as he studied her, before things finally clicked. "Oh no..." He started to step back just as she kissed him, the weapon unseen and unnoticed. Reflex had him start to return the kiss until he remembered she had no more power over him. "No." He stepped back at last, pushing her away. "This will not happen, never again."

She laughed slightly "Ah! At last. Catching on fast these days. Never again you say? Pity. Now get me a medical kit quickly and quietly unless you want your child to grown-up never knowing its father..." she brought the phaser up. Do anything stupid and you will regret it! I promise you." She regarded him for a moment. "Well, you certainly didn't waste any time did you? Who can blame you? She is rather intoxicating. Were you thinking of me while you were with her? she grinned, twisting the proverbial knife.

His green eyes flashed in defiance. "No," he lied, "I wasn't." Though in truth the first time he had been, but she had saved him and his feelings had shifted. Had changed, and had made him feel a better man. "I won't help you." He stepped back, slightly raising his hands. He was no fighter even if he did know how. Engaging her would surely see them both hurt, or killed and that he was hoping to avoid.

Her eyes narrowed but she gave him a begrudging nod of respect "So you've finally grown a pair! That's better. I'm not going to kill you. That's a debt I intend to collect. It doesn't mean I'm not going to make you suffer." She brought the phaser up. "Know this. You'll be seeing me again," she added with a wink as she prepared to fire.

"I don't owe you anything," Syvar countered, hoping to stall her here in sickbay, hoping someone would walk in, despite the late hour. "Certainly not after all you've inflicted on me." He took a slight step backwards yet again, creating a little more distance between them. There was a tray with equipment behind him, he knew, if only he could get to it. "And if you go, you should at least be scanned, to be sure it's safe for you and your baby." He really needed to keep her here, at all cost.

She relented at the last moment. "Very well. You can scan my baby to make sure it's ok but only that! No funny business!" She kept the phaser trained on him as she perched on a biobed.

"Lie down and lie still," the Vulcan told her as he briefly turned away to grab his tricorder, and a hypospray which he slid up his sleeve. He turned back, detaching the scanner from the device and gently running it over her abdomen. "It appears.." he started, after briefly consulting his results, "that your baby is healthy and on par with your term. More, I cannot tell, I fear."

Fox breathed a sigh of relief. She looked at him "It's good to know that my baby is ok. I would like to know what you plan to do with that hypospray you thought I didn't see you pick up and hide somewhere." Her eyes narrowed and her grip on the phaser tightened "And I thought we had trust..."

"You think wrong," the young Vulcan answered, "I will never trust you, and you must never trust me." The medical device slid down into his hand and he prepared to press it against her neck. "I will do all I can, to make sure you are detained."

She saw movement out of the corner of her eye. The phaser did not have a clear shot, so Fox balled up her other fist and hit him as hard as she could on the side of the head.

The glancing blow first struck his temple, then connected hard with his cheek and nose, causing him to stagger back into his instrument tray. Unused, the hypospray fell from his hand and rolled under the bed, the vial it contained cracked and draining of its contents. He gave a yelp of pain as both he, and the tray were sent crashing towards the deck.

Fox was up in an instant, level the phaser at him. "That was stupid..." She hissed as she fired.

As he fell, he saw the bright orange beam shoot towards him and felt it strike him full in his chest. His already dazed mind barely registered the intense burning pain that spread out from the point of impact, and he was unconscious before he fully hit the floor, sending the rest of his equipment scattering across the deck.

Once she was satisfied he was unconscious, she gathered up the supplies she needed, placed them in a backpack which she slung over her shoulder. She then gave Syvar one last glance before leaving sickbay.
