"Your excellence," the words rang out still strange to be heard. "There is a ship in orbit."

Uldrag the first, turned from her musings as she was gazing out at the land that had been bestowed to her and her people. She was still in the infancy of her first rule as queen, bestowed upon her by her god.

"Who are they?" she asked "And have they stated their business?"

"They have only expressed a wish to open a channel. I thought," she bowed to her, "That it should be our queen who speaks for us."

Uldrag nodded, what her counselor had stated. It made sense.

"Very well, we shall proceed." Moving to where she can have a viewscreen audience with said person.

"Contact them." She said with confidence, after all she had her deity's blessing. She waited for the viewscreen to activate. When it is brought to life, she stated.

"I am Queen Uldrag, whom am I speaking to."

“I am Sugo Torel of the league of the five in this area of space. This planet has never been inhabited before your majesty. In fact it’s been dead. Nothing of interest for any of us to make a claim. Yet life seems to be returning.We caught the life signs passing and decided to investigate. How did end up laying claim to this planet?” He asked.

Uldrag listened to Sugo's explanation, she knew how it happened, it was her people's god! However she didn't want to speak his name, to be sullied upon the ears of the captain she saw.

"My people and I had been traveling among the stars, following the guidance of our holy records. It was prophesied that we would find a planet which was waiting for us, a promised land. Once we landed upon this planet, the life that was enshrouded from those whom were not us, burst forth, welcoming us into our home like a seed would beneath the soil, waiting for the right conditions. Our long arduous journey at an end"

Uldrag listened to Sugo's explanation, she knew how it happened, it was her people's god! However she didn't want to speak his name, to be sullied upon the ears of the captain she saw.

"Would you permit us to come down and see this “miracle” he asked. “Learn more about you. If you are to be part of our system permanently we must get to know you. Perhaps we can discuss trade. Perhaps one day I would be part of the league of six.”

"Only a small amount of people. Around 2 to 4 people. You will need to go through a decontamination chamber, just to make certain you do not bring something that will cause any sort of devastating occurrence."

It was natural she didn't want anything to happen to create an imbalance on this new home.

“I thank you for graciously giving us an audience. My group will transport down if you will issue coordinates. Consider me an ambassador for,” he smiled at her, “the five.”

Queen Uldrag gave a regal nod, then turned towards her attache, "give them the coordinates."

The communicate ended and the lady who had informed her of it turned and said, "Your excellence. What will they think here. You and the planet bloom with renewed beauty. The rest of us with our infliction," she indicated her own ugly face.

Uldrag thought for a few moments, she wondered if she had the power to change her fellow Cetea or... could those alcoves that her deity, Deimos had shown her, would change the appearance. Would it be a sacrifice of just a little bit of energy from the believer to change their appearance?

She had to find out. Looking towards her envoy, Uldrag gently replied.

"I will go speak with our deity, and we will heal our people."

Demios was already there waiting. He had nudged these old aliens towards the planet. Not as their god but ensuring their sensors picked up the life that was now expanding.

"The five will be good allies to turn against your Federation. And to help you build your civilisation and influence," he informed her.

"I suggest you work towards sealing an alliance with marriage. Sugo Torel is of the highest rank. A good man. One who you can easily influence. His worlds have resources that you will need," he informed her. "Many precious minerals and metals."

Queen Uldrag thought it over for a few moments. "A marriage, something that I hadn't thought of before to anyone. I will proceed towards that goal." giving a nod. "There is another thing I would like to find out, how to turn our people, beautiful like myself. Could it be done with those strange alcoves that I had seen earlier? Perhaps a small bit of energy given to you, in exchange for becoming more comely?"

"They, like you have not earned their redemption," he stated. "However I will temporarily make the illusion that they look more comely. They cannot shine brighter than their queen of course."

Queen Uldrag nodded, "It will give them a taste of what could happen if they believe." she smiled, her face lighting up with joy. "I will choose those whom I feel would be good to be my staff. Ones that have exhibited more faith. Would four be all right with you?" her mind all ready going through her small list of those who hadn't given her too much grief when she was but an ugly trashgirl.

Also in her mind, Uldrag's mind was in a whirl, a possible marriage? Would this Sugo Torel be a good man to her, she could feel her heart race in anticipation.

"I will give you 30. You need attendees to greet him. Attendees to serve food. Your first Royal dinner. It must be grand. And as queen you should have 4 attendants alone," Demios informed her.

Queen Uldrag, took a deep breath then let slowly let it out, there was so much that she needed to learn to be a queen. "All right, then let us prepare a royal dinner. I thank you for your patience with me." kneeling in reverence before her deity. "The list will be broadened out then. I will gather the four I trust the most then the others will fall into line.By your leave." waiting to be dismissed.

He nodded at her and disappeared in a flash.

"Right, time for preparations... and a quick lesson or two of etiquette while dining."Queen Uldrag murmured softly, to herself before stepping back out to talk with her people.
