“Incoming transmission coded from the Agora crossroads,” the computer stated into Roses quarters.

Giving a sigh, Rose rolled out of bed, slipped on a robe And made her way over to her computer. The first time she’d gotten to take a quick nap and now someone wanted her attention. Tapping her command code into the console, She sat down at the computer and rubbed her forehead with her fingers, “decode transmission, sequence delta”

Her viewscreen lit up with the purple figure of J'Tan. "Lieutenant. I hope I did not awaken you."

"it wouldn't be the first time. What do you want J'Tan?" Rose asked

"I thought you might like to know I have located the two weapons that your people lost. And also .... I may have some intel on your "cetea".

now he had her attention, "sounds interesting. Alright, let's see what you have. hopefully we can use what you've found"

“First tell me are the rumours of this death weapon heading our direction true?” He asked.

Rose sighed, "in spite of our best efforts, it would appear so. We're doing everything we can to catch up, but we've been left in quite a state"

"You engaged it? And survived?" J'Tan said astonished.

"Barely. We wanted to at least disable it so it was no longer a threat. Obviously it didn't go well"

"So what now?" the purple alien asked.

“I have no idea. Hopefully the other department heads have ideas”

"Its heading towards us isn't it? Will you Federation aid us?" J'Tan demanded.

“We’re doing everything we can. It hasn’t exactly survived this long by being easy to kill. Sometime you miss the good old days of the Dominion”

“What is the Dominion?” The purple alien asked confused.

"a long story and not something you should be worried about right no. Perhaps you should be preparing to evacuate" Rose said, unsure what else they could do.

"Well I will be evacuating and heading straight towards you people. I can return these personally and I wager I'm safer in your fancy vessel than anything here," J'Tan stated. "After all you brought this to our doorstep."

“We didn’t bring it anywhere. It might have come this way without our help”

"Well I wouldn't expect you to admit it," J'Tan stated. "Anyway ... im going to get these to you ..." he held up the daggers. "And you clearly need your beauty sleep ....." he stated.

Rose gave a sigh, "alright, whatever. Just make sure to contact the Captain and tell him you're coming by"

"I will. Goodnight Lieutenant," the purple alien stated before disappearing off the monitor.
