Mission: Mission 1 - In the pale moonlight ...
Location: Corridor, deck 9
Timeline: MD 5 0420 Hrs
620 words - 1.2 OF Standard Post Measure

ON:

Amelia was walking down the corridor on her way to the bridge when she came around a corner and found the Captain stood in the middle of the corridor looking somewhat concerned. He appeared to be talking to thin air.

".....Then I hope you burn too where ever you goddesses go,...." He grabbed Amelia by the shoulders and started to push her backwards.

Startled, Amelia braced herself and shouted "Captain are you alright?"

Jon looked perplexed and his eyes started to focus properly. "Number one," he said. "I was somewhere else. There was fire and …. well my previous goddesses."

Amelia raised an eyebrow "Fire?" She looked around. "There's no fire here Sir. Perhaps you were sleepwalking? You did seem pretty out of it."

"I don't sleepwalk," Jon said firmly. "Something was affecting me, making me do that. Something is affecting this ship and the staff onboard. I need to the counselor."

Amelia turned to the turbolift "I'll come with you to make sure you get there safely." They both entered the turbolift. "I don't know if you've noticed but the entire crew seem a bit on edge and..... " She stopped as the turblift started to shake. Suddenly the top ripped clean off revealing the vacuum of space. Amelia immediately felt herself being pulled upward "NOOOOOOOO..." she screamed as she frantically tried to hold onto the sides of the lift, curling up into a fetal position.

Jon groused inwardly. It was late, he was tired and he did not need babysitting by his XO. However he had to get in the turbolift. He walked in and as it set off was trying to nicely determine how to state that fact when Fox started acting very peculiar. He sensed unease and fear from her and watched as her eyes darted round the turbolift several times. Then she screamed and dropped to the floor.

"Number one," he said measuredly. "What's happening?"

When she carried on screaming he knelt down concerned and grabbed her shoulders. He noticed somehow she was bleeding from her nose. "Amelia. Snap out of it," he said. The skin to skin contact made his abilities pick up just how frightened she was. Her anxiety had morphed in to pure terror.

"Your safe," he continued trying. "Nothing bad's happening. Your just in a turbolift.

Her head snapped around at the sound of his voice. She was in the turbolift. It was still in once piece. Slowly she rose back to standing. "Whoa, that was a hell of a trip...." she muttered as she wiped the blood from her top lip with her finger. "It must have been something similar to what you experienced Captain. It was very real and very..... " she searched for the right word "... Intense."

Another small dribble of blood appeared from her nose.

"I think we better get you to sickbay," Jon said firmly. "Tell me what happened number one."

Her heart was still racing as she gathered her thoughts. "It was as if the turbolift was ripped apart and I was almost blown out into the vacuum of space. It felt very real."

"Sounds very similar to my experience," Jon nodded. "I was on another planet and that felt very real too. I think somethings going on. This isn't just one isolated incident."

Amelia was about to protest but then thought better of it. "Yes Sir. What about you? Are you coming to sickbay too?"

"No I'm still going to see the counselor," Jon said. "Come find me when your all patched up."

"Aye Sir."
